Nodak Mutual Insurance Company has an immediate opening for an experienced Farm Underwriter in the Fargo home office.  Will consider working from home if have farm underwriting experience.  This individual will review insurance applications by evaluating, classifying, and rating individuals and groups for insurance and accept or reject applications; underwrite new business applications and renewal policies; review and underwrite endorsement requests, reinstatements, and rewrites; initiate policy non-renewals and/or cancellations as needed; and properly communicate with agents and policyholders.

Successful candidates will have:
*  Bachelor's degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*  Experience working with independent agents preferred.
*  Excellent computer skills.
*  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*  Ongoing insurance education a plus, such as API, AU, CPCU, etc.
